What do we connect?
Gravio is a platform to connect inputs and outputs to enhance efficiency within companies. Other than most other Enterprise Application Integration Platforms, Gravio is very easy to use without coding knowledge and leverages the Edge as well as the Cloud. This means, it can easily work with on-premise data, for example, from sensors or from computer vision systems.
How do we connect it?
At Gravio, we continuously create new adapters for data sources, APIs and devices. From Zigbee, HTTP Rest APIs, we build Gravio in a way that makes it easy for you to increase the efficiency of connectivity within your business. Our software runs in the Cloud as well as at the Edge, to leverage the potential or both worlds. We focus on interoperability and open standards, so our customers are not locked in. The Gravio Node software runs on Linux, Mac and Windows.
Triggers and Actions
Gravio is based on Triggers and Actions. Actions are small sequential programs that you can put together with no coding skills. Those Actions take the incoming data and process it, and push it further other APIs or output devices. Triggers monitor the condition of incoming data, and if a trigger condition is met, the respectivae Action will be executed with the relevant incoming data.

Gravio HubKit is the software that processes the incoming data and executes the Actions based on the set Triggers. We call these servers "Nodes". HubKit can be installed on Windows, Mac and Linux. The Coordinator sits in-between the Nodes and coordinates them. The Coordinator can be installed on any Linux machine, on-premise or in the cloud.

Access Control via Certificates
Users accessing Node Hubs are controlled via client certificates which are issued by your own Gravio Coordinator. This way you have full control over the users and the resources they can access. The client certificate issuing process can be controlled from the Gravio Coordinator’s web interface.
