USB Camera Guide
(Standard version or better, with Gravio Hub)

Connect Your USB Camera To Gravio Hub or Windows/Linux Machine

Take your first step by connecting your USB Camera to Gravio Hub. Please use a USB Port Hub as an extension to get the ports you need. You can also connect it directly to your Windows/Linux machine at any USB port available.

After connecting your USB camera to Gravio Hub or computer, you will need to ensure Gravio Hubkit services are running.

* If you are using a Gravio Hub - Please skip this step.
If you are using a Gravio USB Dongle, please continue by running your Gravio Hubkit services. To do that, you can find the file in your Applications folder on MacOS. For Windows, you can search for Gravio Hubkit in the search bar to locate it. Double click on the application and it should start running. In your applications tray, make sure that it says 'Gravio Hubkit services are running'.

Run Gravio Studio Application and Login using your credentials.

Run Gravio Studio by double clicking on the application icon. You can find the application in the Applications folder on MacOS. For Windows, just search in the search bar for 'Gravio Studio 4'.
If you have not downloaded Gravio Studio yet, please download it from the respective app stores. Windows Store for Windows and App Store for MacOS.

Deploying the AI Image Inference Model using Gravio Studio.

Once you have logged in, a list of your paired Gravio Hubs will be shown. Select your Hub and then go into 'Settings' tab. Select 'Image Inference Model' then look for 'NumberOfPeopleTensorFlow' and click on 'Deploy'. Deploying may take a few minutes.

Configuring USB Camera

In your 'Devices' page, select the icon for 'Device List' on the top right. This page allows the pairing and configuring of various devices in Zigbee, Bluetooth and Camera. In the 'Camera' tab, your USB camera will be displayed here.
Select the USB Camera and change the inputs to your desired settings. Select 'Save' and then close.

Creating The Area, Layer and Binding USB Camera To Layer

Select the Icon on the top left that brings the list to create Area and Layer. If you have not created any Areas before or would like to start a new Area, please create one now. This step is necessary because without any Areas, we will not be able to create Layers.
Now, select 'Add Layer'. Please choose the Layer Type as 'NumberOfPeopleTensorFlow'. Finally, bind the Device (USB Camera) to the Layer that was just created.
Please make sure the checkbox for the device is 'Ticked'. This ensures that the Device starts gathering data.

Ensuring Data Stream Is Live

Select 'Data' tab and make sure the 'Live' button is on. The USB Camera data will be streaming in according to the timeframe you have set in your settings.
