新型感染症の流行に伴い、豊洲やまもと眼科では安心して治療を受けていただけるよう、各種対策を強化徹底している。 待合室の３密回避のため、「待合室の混雑状況をウェブサイト上に開示する」ことも検討。院長みずから待合室人数を自動検知できるしくみがないか調査したところ、いくつかのやり方があることが判明した。それらの中から、もっとも低コストで簡単に待合室人数の検知が可能なGravioを採用した。

STEP1.
カメラの設置とGravioでの認識
Gravioがサポートするネットワークカメラを設置し、Gravio上に登録。
当社認証済み I-O DATA社ネットワークカメラ「Qwatch」を導入。
STEP2.
AIを使った推論と結果
任意のタイミング（豊洲やまもと眼科では5分ごと）でGravioが待合室の画像をもとに人数を検知し、数値データとして保存。
撮影画像は医院に備え付けのパソコン上でエッジ処理を行うことで、クラウドでの実装に比べて個人情報漏洩リスクを大幅に低減。
さらに推論後の画像は即座に破棄することも可能。
STEP3.
ウェブサイトへの待合室人数の開示
検知した待合室の人数をGravioからウェブサイトに自動表示することで同医院のホームページ上に開示。
豊洲やまもと眼科のウェブサイトにアクセスするだけで、混雑状況を事前に把握できるので、来院患者に3密を避けたタイミングでの来院を促すことが可能に。
今後は待合室人数だけでなく、しきい値を越えると「混雑中」であることがわかる表示もホームページ上で行われるようにする予定。

豊洲やまもと眼科山本院長
待合室の混雑状況を検知するしくみには、入り口に赤外線センサーを付けてINとOUTをカウントする方式や、待合室の画像を荒くした後、映し出す方式、顔を認識してモザイクした後、映し出す方式など様々なしくみがありました。
しかし大がかりなしくみは当医院では導入できず、また写真を荒くしたりモザイクをかける方法では誤って個人情報を漏洩してしまわないか心配でした。
今回Gravioを採用し、これほどの正確なデータをこんなシンプルなしくみで取得できることに驚きを感じています。
Gravioを使った人数検知のしくみは患者の利便性向上に役立っており、コロナ収束後も継続して利用していきたいなと考えております。
